Torres Dance School was established in the summer of 2002 with dance instructor Raul Torres. Together with the salsa they teach you and other cuban dances - rumba, guaguanco, mambo, son, cha-cha, pilon, mosambice, guaracha, casino y rueda. |

| Samba, merenge and bachata are also included in the school programme. From the league of all these dances a new, different and exceptionally attractive dance was born. It's called "timba suicida" ("Suicide Salsa") or "Tropicana Style". |
This is the salsa style of the new century, showing off the bodies' explosion of the dancers, the qiuckness of their legs, the figure combinations of hands and legs, all of these combined with jazz and Cuban son.
One of the important marks of the school is the studing of the salsa technics which is helping the dance to acquire a clean and elegant look, and also is preventing from possible traumas and pains. All the technics used in the salsa come from ballet and danza.

The ballet technic is helping in the achievement of cleanliness and legs quickness, and danza - the body flexibilty. Among the used technics are plie, demiplie, releve, pase, cudepie, piruet, gete, rondean, chene. Another important mark of the school is cultivating the sense for music and rhythm, the ability of the dancers to improvise with any of the music instruments. Side by side with the high professional instruction the students are able to have fun and relax in the hot beats of the salsa. |
