Trops House (pronounced Trops Kushta in Bulgarian) is a fast foot restaurant. The menu is similar to those of the traditional Bulgarian restaurant. There is no waiter service, so you will need to line up and order - pretty much like McDonals. The prices are affordable, the food is fresh and tasty, and the place is clean. So if you are curious about Bulgarian cuisine or if you are just about quick lunch go to Trops House.
Where to find a Trops House?
There are five Trops Houses that we know of. Most of them are located in the Sofia city center. The newest one is in Mladost 4 - Business Park Sofia, building #3. You can go there by catching bus #214 at hotel Pliska or Luvov Most. There is one 24 Maria Luiza, Blvd., on the underground floor of Hali central food store – very close to TZUM. The biggest Trops Kashta is on 11 Saborna Street(very close to the Sheraton Hotel). Two smaller ones are located on 22 Alabit Street and 38 General Gurko Street. |
